    • Analilia Mejia is a mom, organizer, and advocate for working families who is running for Congress. She was born and raised in New Jersey by immigrant parents and saw firsthand how hard her mother worked to support their family. That experience inspired her to fight for better wages and paid sick leave as a union organizer and leader of the New Jersey Working Families Alliance. She later served as National Political Director for Bernie Sanders’ 2020 campaign and worked in the U.S. Department of Labor under President Joe Biden. Today, she lives in Glen Ridge and continues working to make government work better for New Jersey families.
